TEHRAN (IRNA) -- Substitute Friday prayers leader of Tehran Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati said here Friday that the IAEA Chief Mohammad ElBaradei’s February 22 Iran report is a solid evidence of Iranian nation’s righteousness and of the U.S. failure.

Delivering his second Friday prayers sermon here at Tehran University campus, Ayatollah Jannati congratulated Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and the Iranian people and officials over the country’s nuclear victory following the IAEA report.
“ElBaradei’s report was a proof of elimination of ambiguities and charges that have been raised against the righteous Iranian nation, and was a guarantor of our victory over enemies, especially the U.S.,” he added.
The cleric then warned against issuance of another resolution against Iran by the UN Security Council.
“The (Iranian) nation has vowed God, the prophet (PBUH) and its leader not to back down its strong and right (nuclear) stances even one iota,” he said.
He said the nuclear victory would not have been possible easily without President Mahmud Ahmadinejad’s courage and his success in securing the Supreme Leader’s consent.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Ayatollah Jannati condemned Zionists’ intensification of air strikes on Gaza recently and criticized the world people, especially Muslim states, for turning a blind eye to the crimes.
“Turning a blind eye to such crimes will be treason against all the world oppressed,” he said.
He added that Muslim states can break silence over the crimes by closing embassies of the U.S. and Zionist Regime in their territory.
Also pointing to lifting of ban on Hijab in Turkish public schools, Ayatollah Jannati said the “humanitarian gesture”, taken in light of Turkish nation’s ceaseless endeavors and resistance, showed that democracy and religion can easily go along each other.
